Scott Rudin - a man of True Grit

It could be a big year for producer Scott Rudin, with two of his films "The Social Network" and "True Grit" likely candidates for awards love. Now, the Producers Guild of America is honoring him with its David O. Selznick Award, which recognizes producers for their entire body of work.

Rudin has become a staple on the awards circuit for the last few years. His most recent films, such as "Fantastic Mr. Fox," "Julie & Julia," "Doubt," "No Country for Old Men" and "There Will Be Blood," have all been recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in one way or another. And this year should be no different. Rudin also has some high-profile projects in the works, including "Moneyball," starring Brad Pitt, and David Fincher's adaptation of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo."
