I'm reviving this blog, after several years of inactivity. There was a time when this blog was vibrant; both in terms of readers and posts. Is there anyone out there still interested in reading the ramblings of an aging western nut?
As Jerry suggests, you've a way to go before "ancient". Which is more than a few of us can say. And blogs are still better in my opinion than social media platforms where you have to negotiate AI fakery and scam advertising. But I think staging a Wild West Monday in 2025 would be more difficult than ever! I did recently run comic-book serializations of two 1950s movies (BRANDED and A TICKET TO TOMAHAWK) at the Fans of Western Books Facebook page. Response was okay, but far from overwhelming.
Absolutely. My blog reading has shrunken quite a bit down to 16, so I'm always on the look out to add another to my reading list. And to be honest, I need one that doesn't suffer from an excess of the American political scene.

Great to see you all here.
