High-kicking sex symbol Dame Diana Rigg is returning to prime-time TV in a specially-written Doctor Who story.
Rigg, who starred as Emma Peel in the cool 60s cult spy series The
Avengers, will be acting with her daughter Rachael Stirling for the
first time.
They are playing “a mother and daughter with a dark secret”.
They are starting filming this week at Roath Lock Studios in Cardiff
and Rigg, 73, who plays a Yorkshire woman, is excited by the prospect.
