Director Sam Mendes has officially ruled himself out of directing the next James Bond movie which is due to start shooting later this year - Mendes told press he will be directing plays in the near future instead of returning to
direct the next Bond flick. There was talk of Christopher Nolan taking over for the next Bond but the Batman director is now tied up overlooking the DC superhero line of movies.
