War on the Home Front

This is a fascinating World War II era comic book from autumn 1943.

Even comic books were used to get the message across.

Beneath the comic cover is a poster from the UK Dig for Victory.

and that's a wonderful Bob kane illustration on the cover. still the best Batman, imho. weird Supes, though.
