The book is Gun Law by Lee Walker
The blurb goes - As a boy of fourteen, Jake Chalmers saw his parents callously murdered by two drunken cowboys in the street. Now a young man, he is determined to protect himself, even if he has to use his gun to do so. On the run after killing in self-defence, Jake arrives in Sweetwater, a boomtown growing rich on cattle drives. His plans to keep a low profile soon

There' no better feeling than knowing your first book is on the way - well there is and that's actually holding it in your hand. I was delighted with the way people supported me as a newcomer and pre-ordered Tarnished Star and so, in the same spirit, I have just pre-ordered Lee's first western. You can use the link above to do likewise and check out Lee's new blog where in his own words it's "Time to get marketing like crazy a la Jack Martin!!!!"

As always, your enthusiasm and energy are an inspiration to other budding writers.
