Designer Brendan Dawes has illustrated data the Guardian newspaper compiled on James Bond's on-screen kills in an homage to the famous title sequence of Dr. No.The highly stylised sequence,
created by Maurice Binder, features circles of different colours
jumping across the screen in geometric formations, and was preceded by
the now familiar shot of Bond swivelling to pick off a would-be assassin
(also created by Binder).
Dawes' graphic
uses the same coloured circles to represent Bond's body count. Each red
circle represents ten kills, and each blue-green circle a single death.
