Beyonce has dropped out of the Clint Eastwood remake of, A Star is Born and although the singer's agent cited schedule problems as the reason, there is speculation that the real reason is political.

The R&B singer recently hosted a mega fundraising bash
with her husband, rapper Jay-Z on behalf of Obama’s campaign last
month. And Beyonce also sang Etta James’ “At Last” for the Obamas “first dance” during the 2009 Inauguration. Eastwood, who will direct the remake of the 1976 rock musical film,
was cast into the lime light for a different reason in August. During a surprise appearance
at the Republican National Convention, Eastwood delivered a rambling
speech in which he spoke at length to a chair intended to represent an
“invisible Obama.”
Although Beyonce denies there is any political reason for her dropping out of the picture, most commentators doubt this. The Archive wishes he was a R&B singing bird with decent tits so he could work with Clint Eastwood.
"I was looking forward to the production of 'A Star Is Born' and
the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood," she told E! News. “For
months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life
but it was just not possible. Hopefully in the future we will get a
chance to work together." Beyonce
Come on the reason is something to do with an empty chair - right? No doubt Beyonce will come to regret her decision.
