This second episode of the third series will likely hold the record for the most offbeat ever - more Rom-Com than mystery the episode saw Watson get married with Holmes as his best man. The bulk of the episodes involves a series of flashbacks woven around the best man's speech.
There are some great comedy vignettes within the story - the stag night is a scream but the episode seemed to rely more on the comedy aspects than the mystery. Though there was a mystery,it creeped up on us alongside the best man' s speech though when the final reveal came it was incredibly fantastic and just may have stretched credibility a little too far.
The ending in which Holmes leaves the wedding alone though was excellently staged and may be remembered as the most iconic scene of the entire series. I guess what I'm trying to say is that this episode was a mixed bag but enjoyable nonetheless.
