Received the offer today for the LARGE PRINT RIGHTS to my novel, Arkansas Smith - it seems it will be coming out in one of those wonderful large print trade paperback format books from Thorpe. The book joins my début western, The Tarnished Star which is also on the way in a new large print edition from Thorpe.
Old Arkansas, the fastest man there ever was, has been at the front of my mind lately - I'm currently working on the final half of the second Arkansas Smith adventure which should see light late next year from those wonderful people at Black Horse Westerns.
In theory this should work out as there will be two Jack Martin westerns next year - The Ballad of Delta Rose should come out late Spring 2011, while Arkansas Smith should then see print six months later. Being two books in hand, as it were, is my aim because I plan to take a good year working on my next major product which I'll tell you all about one day. For the moment I will tell you that the second Arkansas novel is currently residing on Jack Martin's hard-drive under the provisional title of : Arkansas Smith: Arizona Anarchy.
Both The Tarnished Star and Arkansas Smith can still be picked up from Amazon and other online retailers. Or why not support your local library and request the books for loan.

One of the "pluses" about the large-prints is that they are readily available to US libraries and readers via www.ulverscoftusa.com
And the trade paperback format might help, too!
Woohoo! That's great news and well deserved. Congrats. :-)
