Over the years there have been several attempts to bring George G Gilman's Edge to the big screen. For years a producer held the rights and paid a sum each year to hold the option before it eventually fell by the wayside. Other attempts have come and gone and at the moment the books are once again under option
I've seen some of the plans behind this latest bid and it all looks very promising. I have spent time swapping emails with the producer, Johnny Dawkins. His ideas for the character are awesome - so who knows maybe one day soon we'll finally get to see Edge: the movie.
Now that would be something else.
