The first Monday in January 2011 will see the next Wild West Monday and expect some great western stuff in the lead up to the big day when we will be encouraging everyone to buy a western eBook and show that the genre has a place in this new digital world. Western readers and those wanting to experience the genre are spoilt for choice - as well as the many thousand of westerns already available there'll be the new Black Horse Westerns Bundle and of course there is that book called Edge by George G. Gilman, which is certainly the best of the best - the Edge series was the most important British western series ever written and if readers want to see the rest of this astounding series available in digital format then they really need to buy the first one and show the demand. Click on the image left to be taken to the book's Amazon page.
The Archive will have it's own western eBook giveaway from Black Horse writer, Joanne Walpole AKA Terry James as well as some great guest posts from several Black Horse authors. Now at the moment I'm still scheduled to go to Africa on Boxing Day (as long as the current severe weather holds off) but I'll be coordinating things from there.
We'll be looking at the great Black Horse eBook bundle in detail and asking are eBook bundles the best way to buy eBooks. Do readers want themed bundles? Or do they want to follow specific authors? And there'll be news that I'm especially excited about and should in a couple of years see my first western, The Tarnished Star on the big screen.
It's all happening here, folks.
So be here for a Wild West Christmas.
