The next Black Horse Extra online magazine is almost ready to go, despite having to be re-jigged due to the shock news concerning Dorchester moving from paperbacks to eBook. Editor Keith Chapman told me -
"The next Black Horse Extra's main story fell over somewhat with the Dorchester news, and I've spent more than a few hours rejigging the edition. Matt Mayo came to the party magnificently with prompt, new copy listing the implications and his reflections on the eBook trend. I've now made a Joshua Dillard article the BHE lead. The three books published or republished in January, plus the September reissue of Shootout at Hellyer's Creek and three more Ulverscroft large-print trade paperbacks in the pipeline, all seem surer bets, if anything can ever be "sure" these days.I have made your Edge Solstice venture the top Hoofprint.."
And in other related news Keith tells the Archive that - "David Cranmer has another Beat to a Pulp story from me. "Loved it!" was part of his verdict. It's tentatively scheduled for October 31. "The week of Halloween sounded like a perfect slot," he says, which should give you a small clue to content. It's not a western, so don't expect witches on horseback!"
