BOOK BIZ NEWS - DORCHESTER GO ELECTRONIC

It is being reported that Dorchester/Leisure Books are dropping their mass market paperback line in September and moving into eBooks and POD books. Leisure publish many westerns and whilst this news is sad it does give further evidence that the future of reading lies in eBooks. I'm of mixed feelings as I'm extremely sorry to see the paperbacks go but I am pleased that Leisure's titles will be available for the Kindle and other eReaders. There' s been no official news yet but this does come from a reliable source. Dorchester also produce the Hard Case Crime paperbacks under a deal with Hard Case Crime. If this means the popular Hard Case Crime will go eBook also in unclear at the time of writing.
