Sherlock continued to be a ratings and critical winner

WATSON, HOLMES, SOME BIRD AND THE DOBBSTER
The BBC's new non-pipe smoking, gay innuendo spouting modern Sherlock Holmes was once again the most watched Sunday evening program. The first episode managed overnight ratings of 7.05 million which is very impressive and the second managed 6.4 million. Once time adjusted figures were allowed for the first episode almost hit the 8 million mark and the second edged closer to 7.

The BBC have a sizeable hit on their hands with mostly positive critical reviews - expect a look at the entire three part series after the final story airs this coming Sunday.
