To celebrate this important release in the Western Calendar The Tainted Archive has twelve brand new copies of Chap O'Keefe's earlier western, Misfit Lil Gets Even. The books are currently under armed guard as pictured below.
These books will be posted out anywhere in the world to the lucky Archive readers who manage to snag a copy.
OKAY PARDNER'S HERE'S WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO GET YOUR DIRTY HANDS ON A BRAND NEW, UNTOUCHED COPY OF THIS BOOK FEATURING THE POPULAR SERIES CHARACTER, MISFIT LIL.
The bottom image on this post shows the author's favourite representation of the character - so all you have to do is email me at garydobbs@hotmail.co.uk with your idea of who would be the perfect actress to play the character in a movie version of Chap O'Keefe's heroine. Remember Lil is no shrinking violet and is a strong woman of the West.
I, with the author, will then pick our favourite suggestions. We'll then put them all in a hat (A Stetson none less) and pick out twelve lucky winners. Then we'll be in touch to arrange mailing the books to you - all entries must be in by 27th Feb which is the publication date of Chap's new novel, BLAST TO OBLIVION. I will publish the names of the winners, along with a review of Blast, on that date.
NOTE ENTRIES CAN BE WORLDWIDE .......
So here's the Pic and get those suggestions coming in -
Who do you think should play Lil in a movie version of the exciting series from Black Horse Westerns?
Email your suggestions to garydobbs@hotmail.co.uk
Please put MISFIT LIL in the subject line.

I suggest Franka Potente.

She is German, and very popular with Germans... an important market for Westerns, I would think. And she has previously made the crossover into English films.
This girl has sass, class, but also disarming femininity. I would think she would do well; besides, all Germans are raised on Karl May's Winnetou and Old Shatterhand, so they have the necessary Western moves in their blood.
Now you've got me thinking... not sure if that's a good thing... ;)
Sepiru Chris - please email you suggestion to garydobbs@hotmail.co.uk and we'll put you in the pile. Good luck.
I have an idea. Standby...
I'm going to have to give this some thought.
Hey, I answered your question about shrinking my book video to fit the sidebar. I'll paste the answer here too. :)
I changed the width to 210" and the height to 181" in both places in the code. Because that is what PJ Hoover (http://pjhoover.blogspot.com/) told me to do. She's uber smart.
And now to answer the actress question:
GINA DAVIS!
Barrie - thanks for that I'll do that and please send your misfit suggestion to garydobbs@hotmail.co.uk and marke the subject line Misfit Lil.
Barrie, Gina Davis is a female bodybuilder! Did you mean actress Geena Davis?
I hope nobody feels that "casting director" Gary's neat competition puts them at a disadvantage. Those who haven't had the opportunity to meet Misfit Lil in one of her books can meet her in the September 2006 back number of the online Black Horse Extra, or can read an extract from one of her latest stories at www.geocities.com/chapkeith/bhez Plenty of pointers and clues in both places! Then all you have to do is simply put "Misfit Lil" in the subject line of an email to Gary, and the name of an actress as the body of the message. Good luck!
Nothing like reading a post and missing a salient detail.... like email something in!
Cheers,
Chris
No problem sepiru - looking forward to your email.
Oh and for the record - I'm not eligable to enter but I'd like Angelina Jolie simply because I fancy her.
