World Book Day - The greatest gift...

You know the greatest gift we can give our children is to instil in them a love of reading - Family Reading Breakfasts are a great way for schools, family learning tutors, children’s centres and breakfast clubs to encourage children – and adults – to develop a love of reading on World Book Day, 3 March 2011. 
We are inviting organisations across the country to bring parents and children together for the biggest family reading activity ever!
Piloted in 2010, the Family Reading Breakfasts are a fun-filled hour in which children and parents enjoy a sample of books and activities together.
How to join in:

• Register now for information and updates about how we can support you
• Download the Family Reading Breakfast toolkit here, which includes lots of activity ideas, worksheets and handouts to give you some inspiration
• Order a Family Reading Breakfast pack (UK Only). Each comprehensive pack includes 20 World Book Day stories, 20 Quick Reads and a range of materials to get your activities started, for just £55.
• Invite your local library or family learning service to get involved too, and think about how you could work together
