I deduce the end is in sight

So there we have it - the Sherlock Holmes weekend. It was originally supposed to run SAT/SUN but we had too much material and so we ran over thirty posts, all of them Holmes related over three days. And we still have some material left over so expect to see the articles on How to emulate Sherlock Holmes and the Many Faces of Homes sometime over the next couple of weeks. Also the Holmes podcast will go up this coming Tuesday.

The stats have once again gone through the roof and the Holmes weekend has thus far been as successful as the earlier Saint weekend. Our next themed weekend will be a Black Horse Western weekend which will coincide with the publication of the eagerly awaited new anthology, A Fistful of Legends. So keep an eye out for an announcement here soon.

The idea behind the themed weekends is to provide an online magazine for your enjoyment...and all for free. I do hope that if you've never read any Sherlock Holmes that our features may prompt you to do so. You'll be glad you did.

This December not only sees the release of the new movie starring Robert Downey and Jude Law and if the trailers are anything to go by it looks fantastic, but also the publication of the Hard Case Crime edition of Valley of Fear.

So Holmes will always be here in one shape or another.

Incredible job, Gary. You must be exhausted. And I'm looking forward to "How to emulate Sherlock Holmes". I still laugh every time I recall "How to emulate The Saint".

New here and look forward to catching up on all the so enjoyable articles and blogs, past and present. Just astonished to read you had a themed Saint weekend - only last week, received the full Saint, monochrome series!
