If anyone was expecting a serious western then they clearly need to read the source material - the trailer certainly looks enticing.

There was always a thinly veiled supernatural content to Jonah, but this goes further. Still I'm very excited to see this one. Cowboys and big guns - yippie!

Can't say I liked the changes. The Apache angle is too good to pass up and I rolled my eyes when seeing Turnbull doing the scarring. I guess if they remake the Little Big Horn film someday, it'll be blonde-haired, blue-eyed Scandinavians doing the killing.
Another annoyance with recently-made "period pieces" is how the women are always so "contemporary." They look, act, and sound like they're 21st Century people.
