Well worth a visit for old west fans is new blog, Soap Box Blog run by Jeff Smith who runs posts about his grandfather, Soapy Smith who was an Old West crime boss.

The site is well worth visiting and bookmarking, particularly for western writers as there is some good historical detail and old photography.

I just checked it out and I agree it's an interesting site that I will visit again. I do like old photography like the pic of The White Pass Trail.
