First up the June issue of First Edition magazine (that's it pictured with the lovely strawberrys) featuring A Man Called Masters by Jack Martin - it's on sale now at all good newagents and book stores and overseas readers can buy a copy direct paying by paypal or a number of other methods from the magazines website HERE 17 stories, as well as interviews, features and some poetry and all for £3 - can't be bad.
Even more welcome were a couple of cheques and Laurie Powers' edited autobiography of her grandfather, the pulp writer Paul Powers - expect a review here soon. The book's called Pulp Writer and looks to be an interesting read. I'm especially eager to read this as Laurie recently sent me copies of a few letters sent to her grandfather by the late Chuck Martin author of the recently reviewed Montana Dead-shot,
