Captain Picard should have kicked his lard arse
The Borg, the Romulans and those little green dudes with the unpronounceable name were no match for Captain Picard of the Enterprise, so Gavin and Stacey actor, James Cordon should prove a pushover.
The bust up began when the recently knighted Patrick Stewart - aka Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation - criticised comic Corden for looking bored as the Glamour Awards.
"I want to speak to James, here. It is James, isn't it?" Stewart said to Corden in a patronising tone. "When the presenters are standing up here, and when the recipients are receiving their awards, don't stand at the back of the stage with your hands in your pockets, looking around as if you would rather be anywhere in the world but here."
Interrupting Stewart to apologise, the Gavin & Stacey star and double Bafta-winner retorted: "And when you come on stage to present an award, you should just f****** get on with it."
Stewart's response to this was to dish out a series of confusing, silence-inducing insults.
"From where I was sitting, I could see your belly," Sir Patrick said to Corden at one point, to which Corden responded: "Sorry, I'm waiting for the punchline. You could see my belly. I can see you dying right now." Ouch...
The matter was finally resolved by Avatar actress, Zoe Saldana - who came on to the stage to accept her Best Actress award - when she said to Corden: "For what it's worth, I like your belly."

Apparently if you look up the definition of 'smug git' in a dictionary these days it'll now show a picture of Lard Arse.
I agree. Picard could take him, and call in Kirk if needed. He's still around.
I've actually worked with James Cordon and he's an arrogant tosser.
