TV COPS WEEKEND - CASE CLOSED

And so we come to the end of the TV Cops Big Weekend and it's been a blast - a little hectic but a blast all the same. Special thanks go to all our guest posters, between them they have provided days and days of interesting reading. These themed weekends give the Archive the feel of a webzine and I hope readers enjoy what they find here. There'll be another themed weekend along soon and I'm sure that will be just as good.

And so we've covered loads of shows but obviously covering all of the cop shows that have entertained us over the years would take more than a themed weekend - a themed lifetime maybe. And many greats have been left out with the bias seeming to point to cop shows of yesteryear. But hey that's the way the cookie crumbles and there is much much more out there to discover in the genre.

And so if the TV COPS WEEKEND has put you in the mood for a mystery then might I suggest my new eBook - A Policeman's Lot which is out now at a price that is a giveaway - $4.99 US, £2.51 UK, Euro 3.70, $6.19 Australian, $5.52 Canadian. Now that's not bad to see a British copper and an American Legend solve the Jack the Ripper mystery. BUY HERE

Think you know the Jack the Ripper story?
Think again!
Inspector Frank Parade carries out his daily duties in the Welsh industrial town of Pontypridd, duties complicated by the unprecedented presence of 500 members of Buffalo Bill Cody’s Wild West Show encamped outside the town, not to mention the thousands attending the show every day. A series of depraved murders quickly makes things even more complicated. Buffalo Bill stands squarely in his path when Parade tries to investigate the likely possibility that one of the hundreds of show members is involved. And soon enough Parade’s own superiors are blocking his inquires, too. Still more deaths occur as Parade sifts through the thin evidence available and finds a trail that may lead to the perpetrator of the most heinous crime of the 19th Century—London’s “Ripper” murders.
Shocking revelations come thick and fast.
The greatest criminal mystery in history is about to be solved by a Welsh copper and an American Legend.
