Not really, but that got your attention.
The Archive goes Wild West Web crazy - we've got interviews and features coming up and after the next few days filming I will be able to devote far more time to the initiative so expect a crazy amount of stuff coming up very soon. For instance we've already got an interview with writer, Larry D. Sweazy waiting in the wings
Now please, please, please - sign our petition HERE.
If you want to support this genre that we love then we all need to become proactive and keep pushing the genre and the Wild West Monday initiative. People with Facebook, MySpace and Twitter accounts can push the initiative by telling as many people as possible about the Wild West Monday push. Bloggers can blog fiercely about it - let's get Wild West Monday spreading with the viral power of the Internet.
Western Writers of America - yeah, you guys. The only real professional organisation geared to the genre and yet you focus more on the writers than the readers. Come on - you should be actively pushing the genre and pointing people in our direction to support Wild West Monday. The future of any genre rests with the fans and not the creators - they are the important people and it is they that will make or break the western.
Please, please, please - endorse Wild West Monday any way you can and let's bring this genre back into the limelight.
And sign that petition
