On a personal level I've been stuck on one film set after another and have not had as much time as I'd like to devote to the Archive as I'd like, particularly in the run up to the next Wild West Monday. Today, for instance, I spent a couple of hours being trained in the use of a crossbow and then nine hours standing around up a mountain in the pouring rain. But back tomorrow when Laurie Powers will take over the controls of The Archive with a guest blog and then this weekend there'll be some mighty fine western treats coming your way.
