These are examples of just three of the cover designs for the new James Bond eBooks - each book features the same photograph of a dashing looking Ian Fleming, but the books are colour coded so as to add a little variety.
Waterstones have the books listed as always available and it will be interesting to see how things develop with these eBook, as it recently made headline news when the copyright holders decided to break their long links with Penguin and go it alone in publishing the eBook versions of the bestselling series. Penguin Books have threatened to stop publishing the paperback editions in protest at Ian Fleming Publications retaining the eRights. But this has not, as yet, been confirmed.
I do like the look of the eBook covers - they're classy and may be the first time an image of Fleming as replaced that of his fictional spy - though, I'm not at all sure about that. In fact the image chosen of Fleming has a certain 007'ishness about it.
The eBooks are available everywhere in all formats
