Paul McCartney recently relaunched his Band on the Run album - this is, depending on your point of view, either a cynical attempt to make some more money from the current remastering mania or to give the album a much needed spruce up. Much more exciting news however is that Macca has just announced that his next studio album will be called, Man on the Run and he wants to do a cover similar to the Band on the Run cover - this time the ex-Beatle says he want Barak Obama and Beyonce among the convicts on the cover.
"Tom from Kasabian. Then next to him BeyoncĂ© Knowles, looking a bit sort of scared. Then we'd have to get Bob Dylan. And Neil Young. We could have Ricky Gervais. I need a sportsman – Usain Bolt, I'd have to have Barack Obama too. I'd give him a ring." Paul McCartney talking about his plans for the new cover
