Wild West news

Chap O'Keefe's A Gunfight Too Many looks to be going into a second reprint after once again selling out. Get those advance orders into Amazon now. Chap is currently working hard revising his new novel, another Misfit Lil titled MISFIT LIL ROBS THE BANK which should see publication in September.

And on the subject of the Black Horse Western range - look out for an announcement soon here on The Tainted Archive where we're spearheading the western revival.

The title of that one reminds me of a line from Louis L'Amour where one gunfighter tells another, younger one, "one day you'll shoot too fast and kill the wrong man."

For the record, Misfit Lil Robs the Bank was completed as far as I was concerned back in September last year, with several scenes amended to suit the perceived tastes of the library audience. Publisher Mr John Hale mentioned then that I might be asked to agree to yet further "toning down" by his copy editors. I'm still waiting to hear.
