It's been a long time since anyone launched a new comic book in the UK, writes Mark Miller in his editorial to this comic magazine that seems aimed firmly at the more mature comic reader.
The mag is made up of comic strips and features - the features are taken care of with an interview with comedian Jimmy Carr,a look at Charles Manson's celebrity death list, the secret diary of a celebrity pot head and a hopefully regular feature called overdressed porn which is basically a picture of hot chicks fully dressed - it's porn for the deeply moral. The strips are Kick Ass2 by Mark Miller, Turf by Jonathon Woss, Rex Royd by Frankie Boyle and Nemesis by Mark Miller.
It's on sale now, priced at £3.99 and should hopefully do well.

Thanks, Gary. I did hear Wossy was taking a year off before joining ITV to do some comic book writing. If Frankie Boyles creation is anything like his humour, then we're in for a treat. I'm just off to buy it! :-)
I enjoyed this first issue myself - I do hope it does well.
Haven't been able to find this ANYWHERE yet! Okay, I haven't been able to get near any of the Forbidden Planets or whatever, but when I asked for it in the nearest W H Smiths I got a blank stare, and 'Maybe it's in the gay section?'
Methinks Clint is going to have an uphill struggle, shop assistant-wise!
John my local Smith's don't have it either but TESCO's do. Smith's are crap these days in any case.
