James Bland in limbo again
MGM have now rejected
Indian conglomerate Sahara India Pariwar's bid to prop up the ailing studio and take control of valuable film franchises like James Bond and The Hobbit. This is another blow for the 007 series which was expected to go back into production early next year and makes it more unlikely than ever that Daniel Craig will return as James Bond. This is also a blow for defunct car makers Reliant who were expected to supply the vehicles for the new working man's James Bond.

Works for me. Craig made a fine action hero, but he was not James Bond.
Should have been a Bond Bug in the picture.... 'snigger'
Seriously though, a damn shame. Bloody venture capitalists!
John I'd rather see the franchise in limbo than see Daniel Craig do another one. People say he was like Fleming's creation and that's a load of bollocks - yes Bond was an assassin but he was never a thug and killed out of choice, as part of a job and not because he was psychotic. The series needs new producers and above all a new star.
