It's been a long week filming
On the BBC's Lark rise to Candle ford - very long days but enjoyable and on Tuesday I got to work with Tom Conti. But now I've got a period of unemployment on the acting front coming up but I don't mind, a few days at the keyboard is most welcome. And I am back on Lark Rise next Thursday so it's a temporary break. I could do with it mind as I'm behind on my writing this week and so it's back to the grindstone. The Archive will also be back to its usual busy self kicking off tomorrow with an interview with western writer, Marcus Galloway.

Are you shooting the third series? Those recipes in Dorcas' Kitchen look pretty good. Do you get to eat any of this on the set?

Oh and nope don't get to eat Dorcus's cooking but the sandwiches are good.
