New word of the day - "Dobbsian"

Mister Roy takes a look at the online marketing for The Tarnished Star HERE

"it’s not enough just to have, say, web pages and Facebook presence, you need to work them continuously, like a poacher baiting his traps. This is what Gary has done. The man himself (being typically generous with his time) emailed a comment for this post"

Anyway folks read the article and let me know what you think.

Better than Dickensian.
We're back - better than ever - pooling resources.

That's very cool. I know I should do some FAcebook but I don't know how you have time to do so much. I'm swamped just with blogging, and I'm even off work for the summer. Congrats on all the sales, though.

I thought that westerns were not dead, they just had become turned into a theme in modern mysteries or cop shows (Walker Texas Ranger). Ed Gorman and Joe Lansdale set their mysteries in the western setting. So did Tony Hillerman. You get the sheriff or the hired hand finding the dead body solving the mystery and maybe shooting a couple of the bad guys in the desert.
