NATIONAL DAY OF THE COWBOY
This was yesterday - no one told me. Still I'm having a belated celebration by putting my stetson on, opening a bottle of wine and watching some classic westerns. What could be better - hey come to think of it everyday is national day of the cowboy over here in Wild Wales.

I watched the Tall T (1957) today, so i celebrated too. :)
Drake - that's a good one. What did you think of it?
I saw HIgh Noon was on this eve and kind thought about watching it. Alas, my wife generally has first pic of TV shows.
How did I miss this? I'm gonna watch some of Lonesome Dove again tomorrow. Don't think I have any wine left though!

Tall T is one of the best Scott westerns of the 50's. Richard Boone was one of the best actors we had in films and tv (side note Boone moved to my home town of St. Augustine, Florida in the 70's and passed away here) and made a wonderful villian you start to like.
I think all Western fans need to get a copy of The Tall T.
