The Archive's cooking now...
The most hit upon section of the Archive's Saint weekend was the digital publishing debut of Keith Chapman's long lost Saint comic strip. It has been downloaded over a hundred times and still receives readers week after week. Well for the Black Horse westerns Weekend we are again presenting a digital publishing first -

Thanks for this "coming attractions" post, Gary. It will have the UK comics buffs scratching their heads and searching in vain through their Eagle comic collections! So I'll add that the four-page complete story that will be run here was originally published in an Eagle Annual book, not the comic paper. I think the serials in the comic were scripted mainly by Ted Cowan with art by Frank Humphris. The Blackbow character was created in 1953 as "Strongbow" by editor Edward Holmes for another comic.
